Madison Central Library

244 West Washington Avenue Madison, WI 53703

The Fiore Companies has teamed up with Irgens Development Group, Eppstein Uhen Architects, and J.H. Findorff construction to propose a new Central Library for the City of Madison at the northeast corner of West Washington Avenue and Henry Street.

The new Central Library’s two-story entry will be located on West Washington Avenue, a  prominent and attractive boulevard in Madison.  The building will feature a signature civic façade along this gateway to the State Capitol, and will quickly be recognized as an enduring monument within our community.

Our development plan is much more than just a new library.  The overall vision for the project includes the redevelopment of the existing library site into compatible uses expected to include an upscale hotel with street level retail, new public parking facilities, and potential apartments.  This development will integrate the entire block and allow all these facilities to share connections to parking, as well as loading and freight resources.
