The Fiore Companies teamed up with Irgens Development Group, Eppstein Uhen Architects, and J.H. Findorff construction to propose a new Central Library for the City of Madison at the northeast corner of West Washington Avenue and Henry Street.
Our development plan involved much more than just a new library. The overall vision for the project included the redevelopment of the existing library site into compatible uses expected to include an upscale hotel with street level retail, new public parking facilities, and potential apartments. This development would integrate the entire block and allow all these facilities to share connections to parking, as well as loading and freight resources.
