KNICKERBOCKER
PLACE
On Fiore property originally acquired in 1933 stands Knickerbocker
Place, a 20,000 square foot specialty retail center on Monroe Street
in Madison, Wisconsin. The two sites, developed in 1993, are divided
by Knickerbocker Street and are about one block from Lake Wingra.
To capture the flavor of the surrounding area, the project features
design details in keeping with the 1900s character of the neighborhood.
In 1996 the Wisconsin Society of the American Institute of Architects
awarded Knickerbocker Place its highest design award.
